The two places where our voice has the greatest impact are our home and our vote. We should thoughtfully and judiciously wield the power of both.

MomVote! is an initiative of HomeMakers for America to provide information, support and resources to help you vote your values. MomVote! first and foremost focuses on importance of our vote and why our electoral power and voice are so needed to promote the culture we want to see.  Elections don’t determine our policies and culture. Our culture determines our who we elect and what policies we promote. While the culture we create in our homes determines the future of our nation, our vote gives voice to the principles and values we care about.  Elections have consequences–whether we vote or not. Not voting is a vote and who we elect DOES matter.

MomVote! provides valuable information on where to register to vote, how the voting process works, when and where to vote, and lists websites and resources where you can find information on the candidates and issues on your ballot. In honor of all those who sacrificed so much to give us the right, privilege, and responsibility of our vote, and for the sake of our children’s future, lets get registered, get informed, and get out and Vote!

Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.

~Franklin D. Roosevelt
